Busy Mr Trump

A gifted 12 year old wouldn’t struggle with that

I agree that it would be crazy. But we live in a crazy world and as much as a cornered rat can be unpredictable and dangerous I honestly feel that this government feel that they are under the cosh and are being vilified to an extent that I’ve never witnessed.

So , do I think that a cover up has happened? Not really. But it’s certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.

When proper IT experts employed by media etc are going to be looking at that?
A photocopy would fool me , but I doubt any real expert would be fooled for very long.
Too risky.
Being caught in a deliberate lie, is far worse than Reeves crime.

4 years until the elections?
Being unpopular is never a good look, but at the moment it is too early for panic.

Possible? Yes.
But as I said, IMHO highly unlikely.

You’re asking HIM that? :joy:

To think outside the box?

A guy who believes everything he is told by his political leanings spokesman, a guy who takes everything political at face value without looking for a true agenda,.a guy who thinks all politicians actually ARE ‘‘Right Honourable’’ and are in it for all good……all except any who are Tory of course needless to say)

Of course he doesn’t,.what Franglais sees Franglais believes…and he still has the gall to patronise me on the suggestion I made.:joy:

Don’t hold your breath. I confidently predict a massive scandal in the making.

In the meantime it’s probably best to step away from the keyboard in certain circumstances. 10 days ago….

And…? here is the X/Twit account for RachelReevesMP, set up in 2009…with all the history behind it.
God only knows who RachelforLWP is?

Could it be a 12 year old trying to be clever? Doubt it. A 12 yr old wouldn’t be that dumb!

Oh and I forgot…a link so you can check it out yourself…not a screen shot…
https://x.com/RachelReevesMP

Is that all you’ve got? Criticism of sources that don’t quite fit your criteria?

My fervent desire is that current 12 year olds are clever enough to see through the bullshine because it’s sadly apparent that you are simply incapable of it.

Let’s have another vintage Tweet shall we? Hypocrisy is quite simple to spell doncha think? Nah, of course you don’t :joy::joy::joy:

Wow! A message from Rachel Reeves, holding the Chancellor’s Red Box…in 2022…

And your point is….?

Is that really Rachel Reeves account?

±+_-+
And if it is really her, why was she calling for Johnson and Sunak to go?
She says they should go for" breaking the rules and lying".

Many MPs of many parties break the law in many ways. Rarely are they called upon to resign or step down. Lying is one of the few sins that the HoC takes seriously.

Johnson for instance, was (before he quit and ran away) about to be punished by the HoC, not for breaking the laws he made, as despicable as that is, but for lying to Parliament.

Looks like a bit of buck passing happening. Fair enough there may be an e mail from the estate agent advising that a licence would be applied for, the fact remains that as the property owners it was Ms Reeves or her husbands responsibility to ensure everything was in place before renting the property out.

As a Goverment Minister she knows she has to be squeaky clean x 2 to avoid any suspicions of underhand dealing.

Especially as it is only a few weeks since the Mandelson debacle.

You have been in the transport industry long enough to know it is the operator’s responsibility to ensure everything is done correctly.

If you got caught overloaded you could not get away with it by claiming that the fork lift driver said you weren’t overloaded.

Yes. Agreed.
And she has not said otherwise, has she? She has admitted breaking the rules and apologised for it.
That does not make it right, but she is not lying and weaseling her way out of it.

Apparently an unlimited fine is applicable if the council decide to prosecute and a guilty verdict is reached.

Going back to being caught overloaded, if you were charged and then went to court and apologised for the offence do you think you would get away with it.??

Get away with being overloaded? Of course not.

at 17min.
Southwark Council said they intend no action. They would normally send a letter to anyone in breach of the regulations, and if they do not get a reply, then they would issue a fine.

I’ll try that one next time my arse is on the line, if it works for her it’s bound to work for me.

Yep all straight down the line, without a hint of corruption special treatment or anything 2 tier…..just as it appears in fact.

You’ve convinced me.

not.

Nah they have people who do that for them….

Keep yer pitchfork ready mate for when a Tory does something similar.:joy:

Trump and his way of doing things is very well summed up in this piece. It is about the recent US/China trade deal, but although it is all quite interesting, I noticed one idea that sums Trump up perfectly.
“Screw things up a lot. Then screw them up slightly less, and declare victory because you improve things”

Another excellent edition of Unspun World, featuring analysis of Trump’s relationship with China.

Litmus paper is running short I see.:joy::joy:

Best stock up…..along with a few paper hankies.:joy:
