I’m breaking tradition here, because this isn’t clickbait. It’s an opinion piece I wish I didn’t have to write.
I’m absolutely appalled by people saying Charlie Kirk ‘deserved’ to be shot and killed. Whatever you think of his politics, he was a man with a wife and two young children. That alone should make any decent person pause before typing vile comments on social media.
And here’s the hypocrisy: the very same people cheering this on are often the ones who claim to be against violence, who march for peace and who lecture about the need for ‘peaceful protest’.
Yet when a man is gunned down in front of a crowd, suddenly it’s open season and you’re cracking jokes online and saying ‘good’ and bringing up quotes he’s said about his countries second amendment.
Let’s get one thing straight: this was an assassination in a democracy. Someone dead because of their words. That should terrify every single one of us, regardless of whether we agreed with him or not. Today it’s Charlie Kirk. Tomorrow it could be someone you admire….or even you.
Yes, America’s obsession with guns is the ugly backdrop here and the ease with which anger turns in to murder beggars belief. But that doesn’t excuse the disgusting glee from people who should know better.
It shouldn’t matter if you’re left or right, conservative or liberal, red or blue. Murder isn’t the answer. Murder is wrong. Always. Full stop.

Thing is all this disproportinate bitterness about politics (from both sides btw) just illustrates all that is wrong.
A young man with a very young family has been murdered for his views, and people are gloating…shame on them.
From my own personal opinion I absolutely hate the sight of Keir Starmer, he pushes all my buttons when he slavers on about whst he is going to do…
Would I like to see him murdered or rejoice if he was? like some on the radio this morning.?

This particular scenario should be a warning to our sh.show of a govt.
Accusations from the top when people do not condone or agree with their lousy policies range from ‘‘Far Right’’ from Starmer, to ‘Nazis’ from Lammy.
As ever the useful idiots take it on board as being accurate without question, and the more unbalanced radical ones among them do things like this, filled with bile.

LOL I knew the Orange turd didn’t like EVs but with that shameful detention of South Korean Hyundai top brass, engineers & workers who were there with visas to train American workers & build the battery plant have now told the septics to go & do one & cancelled the multi-billion dollar Georgia plant. LG Solutions has now suspended investment in the plant too. Jobs for America LOL what a tool, is America great yet? I don’t think so.
Edit: I’ve just been reading that a South-Korean group of companies have also frozen 22 big investment projects in America since the MAGA Mussolini sent in the brain-dead ICE thugs. Does the orange numbnut not realise that GM & Ford use a lot of Korean machinery in their plants too, talk about a home goal.

Many people are afraid to express their views since all this, which are mainly a concern for their country and how it is being brought down, to the safety of their families in fear of being labelled by these clowns.

I’ve made clear on here my politics, I’m pure mercenary,… no affiliatiion or loyalty to any party, I’ve voted on both sides of fence on the day in the past, and if the one I have voted for turns out to be crap…,I’ll call them crap with no qualms…end of.
