Epstein was a well know figure and had many contacts with people of all sorts back in the day.
Knowing him and sending friendly messages doesn’t make any of them a criminal. Not even Trump. (Trump is a criminal because of his 34 felony convictions, not beacuse of Epstein)
The issue with Trump (IMHO) is that he keeps changing his stance on it all. He shouts about releasing all the documents, then doesn’t. Bondi says she has them and will release them, then they don’t even exist! Then Trump is an FBI grass, about a crime that didn’t happen?
The web of spin is so dense that if Trump made no errors at all with underage girls etc, then one must ask why not just be open? Say “sure I knew the guy but I didn’t realise what an ■■■■■■■ he was” Ten minutes and all over.
All this performance and mind changing lmakes it appear that something is being covered up.
The convicted Maxwell being in interviews with a Trump Gov employee, and ex Trump lawyer, being given a much better prison deal stinks. Maybe there is a reason a convicted sex felon is being treatment in open prison never given to anyone else, but it isn’t clear what that reasonis?
I have seen no evidence that Trump is guilty of sex with underage girls. But he sure as heck is making it hard for anyone to say “Look, here are the documents, and nothing bad here”.
But hey, a jury has found him to be a sex offender, another court found him a fraudster, another one said he is is guilty of slander, and he is still POTUS so what is he frit of?

We know Trump is a convicted fraudster. A jury has found him to be a sex offender. A court says he committed libel.
He is handling the Epstein case like he is guilty, but until a jury says he is guilty? He is innocent.

If there was a “smoking gun” I suspect it would have been found by now.
