One of the major issues that trumpy wumpy (are you sure that’s his name Cav, I thought it was felon P01135809) bangs his lickle dandies against the oval office desk is trade and tariffs. While proudly promoting the US as being the bigglierthanbiggest betterthanbestest country in the loonyverse, he wants it to be massively bigglier and betterier than even now.
And for what? In order for him to make the US even richer by making other countries buy more from them, rather than export more to the US, it inevitably will make other countries even poorer than they already are. It’s short term-ism at it’s worst. The US is wealthy enough to spend it’s currency abroad. With digital products from microsoft it creates new wealth constantly.
In a real sense, or at least under the current capitalist model that the world trades under, EU countries, UK, African countries, South American countries all have to export like crazy to the US in order to stay afloat. It’s the gravity model of trade, another theory that trump insiders need to brush up on. The US is already at that huge fiscal mass to simply attract more money with little effort.
Pause right there driver! What is the world’s default reserve currency?

Follow this through now and don’t hit the headboard. The US economy enjoys a power and strength by default and doesn’t really need to “become richer” It’s primary issue is that like many other countries, it simply doesn’t trickle it’s wealth down fast enough to the poorest there. Trump is using the poverty that US companies impose upon their workers, as proof the US is poor, therefore the balance of trade needs to change so the poor can be rich.
Except the poor never will see the uptick in any wealth created by fiscal changes.
First problem for trumponomics is that if he pisses off the rest of the world enough, they will adopt a different reserve currency, hard as that would be to enact. But as soon as they did, it would reduce america’s wealth 20%, a stock-market correction they would not pull back for another decade and more.
The real reason why trump wants to “reduce” US trade imbalance, is simply to line his own and his supporter’s pockets. Not taxing overtime and tips is chump change, in fact half of that doesn’t attract tax anyway because the major recipients of tip income is the large army of workers who aren’t paid a living wage to begin with by businesses that are making the usual obscene profit only for their owners and stuff the workers.
Trump’s geo-fiscal policy ultimately will reduce America’s wealth, drastically reduce the working class income, piss off the rest of the world, and reduce the rest of the working class around the world’s wealth too. It’s proven bad science by history. But then I guess there aren’t any highly educated econmists within trump’s inner circle now.
And. And you’d imagine with the resurgence of the Steels Dossier, after Alnur Mussayev, the ex KGB agent speaking up again about the alleged recruitment of trump, you’d think trump would be at least cautious about looking even faintly pro russian now.
But here we continue, Putin carries on bombing Ukraine, trump talks about how naughty people are, but how many weeks later after boasting he could end the war in one day, it’s carrying on regardless. Not only does trump do nothing to rein back putin, but trump also continues to criticise the EU and the rest of NATO partners sans the US, for making at least some paltry effort to criticise the war mongrel putin.
Know your US C20th history guys. The McCarthy years when anyone who criticised the US was immediately labelled a commie. Reds under the bed. People’s lives ruined by shame and shunning. Interesting too how as a side hustle, McCarthy also threw around accusations of antisemitism at anyone who dared to question his witch finder general status.
Such a tangled web, I don’t know if it’s the Zionists all behind it all, or a successful russian mafia plot, or the christian far right pulling the strings, or simply some very wealthy families in the murky background controlling the game.
Or even an alien invasion force that maybe despite having superior space travelling technology, lacks the ability to simply wage war against the human race a.k.a independence day, so is using a long term dirty tricks strategy to get us to annihilate ourselves.
But the facts that remain unalienable include how trump has systematically gone after every person and organization that took any part in investigating trump, however official and balanced. Oh and how apparently the bigger reason why trump is going after Harvard?
It’s because it refused his son, Baron, a place there.
Any reasonable person whose vision isn’t adversely affected by having their head shoved so far up trump’s rectrum, must see the pattern of retribution trump is meting out using the office of the president of the united states. And sadly too late, a growing number of people who did vote trump in, are changing their minds as the cuts start to personally affect their livelihood and wellbeing.

Criticise the opinions of others, by all means of course. That’s what this board is partly about besides trying to relay information. But it’s the direct insults of people. I’ve no idea how sensitive or not Mr F is. Probably no more than I.
But what about other users or readers of this board? A casual viewer comes along to find out information (as I first did) Reads a few things of use, then falls down the rabbit hole
