Busy Mr Trump

Trump’s plan is no different to the agreement between Michael Collins and Churchill for partition of Ireland, to end the conflict between Eire and UK.
Or the agreement to hand Istria over to Commy Scumbag Tito to prevent WW3.

But you think that Communism is the way forward. That’ll fix it.

No surprise to see you rushing to the defence of your Commy comrades.Next you’ll be saying that China and its government is the type of Utopia that we should follow and ditch the USA.
Slave Labour costs alone don’t add up to the race to the bottom price tag of Chinese goods.
So either way Trump is applying tariff barriers to even up the price mismatch, to stop garbage quality Chinese products competing with high quality domestic products.
What’s your problem with that ?.

Exactly that. Trump is introducing trade barriers.
He is doing so because?

Exactly that.

Nothing at all to do with other countries having barriers.
Nor reciprocal barriers.

The UK has standards that apply to imported and domestic goods equally. There is no exception for imported goods.
Beyond that the quality of goods is at the buyers discretion. Buy expensive once, or cheap twice may apply sometimes.

At time of writing the huge tariffs on Chinese tech gear is dropped again.
So again, no well paid jobs going back to the US. Maybe jobs making cheap fridge magnets will be on-shored again?

Trump has no strategy, he just reacts to the latest thing he saw on Fox News.

when is the last time you tried to buy a good quality tool in this country. dont give me any hogwash about dewalt or bosh. just because you have to throw them away because of a dead battery before the motor burns out or the chuck gives out doesnt mean they arent crap.

moore and wright are chineseium now… so is myford really… if you want good quality tooling that will last you have to import it from america. try buying a proper 1/4 20 bolt.

Trump has seen what has happened to the uk and europe to a lesser extent and is desperately trying to avoid it. Which is something you claim to be in support of all the wailing and nashing of teeth about the rich running their buisness from abroad.

As a business man he has extensive experience in dealing with the chinese and the other countries and knows what their practices are like. believe me it isnt a couple of old english gents sitting down and shaking hands. It is too late for the uk and probably too late for europe unless a few countries mend their ways. You need to pray to what ever you believe in that america doesnt go the same way or the only thing you will be able to buy is chinese crap that breaks as soon as you look at it with no work no housing and no food.

Comedy gold trump knows best, made in America doesn’t exist

who makes southbend and logan lathes… who makes jacobs chucks who makes ford motor cars who make niagura cutters… etc etc etc etc every town in america has a workshop in it with people that know what they are doing.

Fools gold you answered your own question its in America not outside

keep taking the tablets

Good defence when you haven’t got a clue
No cars come from usa and especially ford cars

ok deary what ever you say…6 Countries That Produce the Most Cars

Try ISS, Stahlwille, Knipex, Facom or Hazet, or Launch and Cojali for diagnostics, with those being just automotive brands, all of which make Snap On look like what it is: ludicrously expensive, over rated and shiny.

i had a brand new facom torque wrench and a scirroco mk 2 press car with 50k genuine on the clock. had to take the head off because a couple of do as you like mechanics had dropped a couple of bolts down the inlet manifold. Put it back together and it stripped a head bolt and snapped the casting on the cam carrier. You have to buy all those sorts of tools off the internet. no clue if they are genuine or chinese clones like this one was.

Oh deary..How much of your car is American-made? We break down the data.

Over half of a Ford, (value not weight) is imported.
Being assembled in the US, is not really the same as being made in the US.

and what was that post in relation to… was it about how much of a car is made in the us or was it in dispute of the claim that usa doesnt produce cars anymore?

Yes but not American owned.

im sorry guys i thought the sentence made in america was fairly self explanatory but i guess not

Nah can’t believe this at all…
I’ve avidly read this thread,.and I was convinced.

According to the Trump Haters on here (aka The old women s knitting circle’’ :joy:) Trump is the most unpopular leader since Kier Starmer.

This alternative report MUST be made up, propaganda, staged for effect… or just a complete lie (there ya go saved the refuter and Spin doctor a job there at least with a few options  )

You would swear to God that Trump (who was voted in democratically) AINT as unpopular as the TN WKC would have us believe..,.
Even Mad Chainsawman was cheered apparentlly,.without a torched Tesla in sight…how could that be?

Nah impossible it’s a kind of ‘‘official’’ narrative on here, that Trump is hated more than Hiltler, so this report MUST be WRONG…does not compute.

I’m off to trawl the net for links, to get some negatives to get back to normal.
Normal service will be resumed asap.

What’s that I hear coming through my phone ?? Seeeeeeethe grunt, harumph, pah.
:joy::joy::joy:

Oh poower poower lickle trumpy wumpy, has the bad man upset his even fatter belly fwendy wendies with the silly hats? are they complaining that their must have I wants like televisions and mobile phones are going to cost them a lot more of their pwecious dollars; the ones they “earn” sitting with their fat back sides over hanging the chair as they stuff another big mac and fwies down their thwoat. Mummy’s wowwied that they are blaming twumpy wumpy and saying he is the bad man, and don’t believe him when he says that it was that nathsty old man Biden.

A very telling paragraph from the above
“Trump remained in Florida during the dignified transfer of four US soldiers killed during a training exercise in Lithuania, sending Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, to Dover air force base in Delaware to represent him. Instead the president attended a candlelit dinner for Maga Inc, an allied political organisation, reportedly charging $1m a plate.”
