Choose a dictionary or encyclopedia. Any one. And read what it says for communism. Then explain if you can, how some tyrant whether Stalin or Putin comes anywhere near that definition.

For some strange reason you seem unable to divorce in your minds the USSR and China from the term communist, no matter how much anyone points out to you that the USSR and China are not communist. So every time some talks about communism you return to the same lie that communism means the USSR and China.
The USSR and China are NOT communist countries
Therefore, communism does not mean a regime like in the USSR and China.
I really don’t know how to explain such a basic concept to you more clearly.

Really?..as far as I knew the USSR (or CCCP) was an absolute communist country made up of a group of republics…formed after the Russian revolution…(there ya go mate, it can work,.crack on, get yer beret on and grow a beard .)
As for Russia in it’s present form, whether it pertains to communism by form or definition is open to opinion and interpretation.
I would certainly say the oppressive side of a true communist state still exists there for starters .

i belive that you are in thailand… nip over to laos or vietnam of even cambodia to some extent and talk to the people there with in 30 seconds you will he phrases like “our great leader did this” or “thanks to our wonderful leader we have the other” Or even in thailand try treading on a bank note you have dropped in front of a copper.

Most if not all property is privately owned. Utilities and energy companies are mostly privately owned, not publicly.
It is not a communist nor a socialist country.

Historically communist countries have often ended up as repressive countries that is true.
It is also true that many repressive countries are not communist. That is certainly true of some (eg South American) countries with military juntas, and currently (guess who?) Russia, with a repressive Gov ruled by a dictator and backed by oligarchs.
