I’ve no idea…

How much a decent van costs 4/5k + -?

You’ll need to make that back first before the van becomes worthwhile.

I’m looking at fitted ranger now

can I ask you how much is the maintenance on it (maintenance plan all inclusive)■■? Regards

When I was rinning my vans I had a petrol Sherpa parked at the back of the warehouse so I could use it’s fuel card for filling up my rather thirsty Xj6. That van did some miles without turning a wheel

Wait till something goes wrong they cant get the parts for them . They have suspect intrcoolers a mate has had his sat in fords for about 6 weeks waiting for one

I have done some research and I’m also thinking about Nissan Navara as an alternative perhaps Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian

There isnt any, 3 years warranty then i.ll chuck it back in for another new one

When I had my own courier/ light haulage business back in the early 2000’s it was never once questioned precisely why I needed a Fireblade as a courier bike, why it used slick tyres, why it happened to get through 3 sets every weekend, or why I kept falling off it and expensively repairing it!

Barry Sheene’s mechanics…

Used to joke that the only way they could stop him from falling him off was, to bolt him to the bike using all the pins and plates in his legs.

They are also good looking and interior is very plush. Navara by Nissan gives you 100k warranty with breakdown cover. Seems to be very well build too.

Ford give breakdown cover too. I needed 3.5t tow which was ranger or dmax, after driving dmax there was no second thoughts. Plus the 3.2 mapped pulls like a train
