Close  … Thornton Mill

Yes, it is a little bit tight  .
The rest of loading bays are similarly tight, but it is not soo bad.
After a couple of years of practices and few damages to bays and lorries you can reverse with closed eyes  .

a few pics of me last month or two !!!

Hi, All

I went past what I know as Favor Parkers mill at Stoke Ferry the other day. Saw some nicely painted trailers in their yard , has Favor Parker got a new colour scheme or has some one taken them over? Sorry no pics.

Cheers Bassman

They where taken over by Vion.

We are up sale again, so who knows who we will be working for. The last I heard was an American firm, “Have a nice day”.

had a play in one of our hire motors today

I have loaded out of there a few times when I was with Nelsons, many moons ago,and I can vouch for it being tight!!!

Hi,
I`ll confess that I know nothing much about bulk blower/feed lorries.
I have come across many of them unloading into silos (?) and hoppers in farmyards during my years in livestock haulage.

When leafing through an old copy of Commercial Motor , I saw this advert . I hope it is of some interest to you all.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.
