Building a shed

Had the fire going this afternoon, burns beautifully get a good draw considering its got a 45 bend in the flue.
It’s hot hot in there .
Chopped some logs up ready for winter.

Started a few jobs today that I left at the end of last year.

Painted the windows put a flat screen in and an aerial which I’m well pleased with, reception is perfect.

Going to take the wheels off on Sunday and put railway sleepers under it.
Got a garden bench to site.

Also 3 pheasant feeders to attract them not shoot them.

So what’s inside the burner ie ash tray etc.
Looks good and as I’ve got one I could X cut it making a bar b q

Just found this thread. Fantastic. You done a cracking job.

You’ve done a cracking job there and thanks for the pics/thread, your friend played you a blinder with that stove, it looks pucker!
Hope you can sit back and enjoy it, or is there another whackier project in the offing?

Thanks a lot for the positive comments, it has been great over the winter to escape from every day life .
The log burner is a cracker and I’ve had plenty of exercise collecting deadfall and lucky for me a tree that came down in the strong winds we had has now been chopped into logs for next winter.

I have to admit when you have a wife going through the change its a great place to runaway to.

Evil my next project is the old range rover I have.
It needs some welding and a new cat .
I’m going to paint it as well.

Glad people like it.

Gave the range rover a new exhaust, cat, back bumper off and tons of welding, and a coat of NATO paint.
Get it ready for summer.

Yep, that’s exactly the colour I would have chosen for the towbar cover! :open_mouth:

Scavenged a bench on sat morn, gave it a lick of paint and set it on some flags I pulled out of a skip.

Acquired some blocks and used them to support the shed rather than the legs on the chassis, its firmed it up and took the shimmy out of it.

Four flags for a step.
Took the hitch off and gave the a frame a lick of green paint.

Also trying out a solar panel to put a charge into the battery.
I’m getting a months use out of a 629 117 amp lorry battery at the moment which isn’t bad to be fair.

Good luck with it immigrant.

image.jpegOver the last month or so I have been building an air conditioned Library in the garden and some decking and landscaping with a water feature coming out of a wall of railway sleepers. I am mainly retired by the way.

Good use of the railway sleepers.
