hiya,
Thanks Robert have had hold of an identical Octopus and a Bristol nowt to do with Thornies or M111 Mammoths although have driven an AEC or two of a bit later vintage, but in all honesty have never had one as straight or as shiny as “yours” and would have to admit the minute i got hold of them would be the last time they would look so well, but being of the old school they would earn money and if the “firm” wanted them gleaming i’d only be too pleased to park them on the wash for them, and yes i’ve had gaffers get my motors cleaned for me or even do it themselves i was only employed to drive the things after all.
thanks harry long retired.

Robert nice pictures, fiddle I do not know what you are talking about, never could play a instrument■■?,hope he is not refering to you Harry, can you play a fiddle. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

What’s this “fiddling” all about Robert, don’t know what you mean, never crossed my mind to park up and get a lift home.
Have I missed something ?

thanks harry long retired.

Oh I was waiting for you to come out with, many a good tune is played with a old fiddle, but knowing you you would rather be on a old fiddle. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Hiya Norm what do you make of this poor old Lord what-is name who’s been caught having a dodgy at home when he claimed to be parked up in London !! You and “H” never were daft enough to get caught out were you ? Cheers Bewick.

Hope to meet some of you here, I’ll be easy to find!
I’m Robin Masters trailer boy!

Alex

Nice of you Alex, will try to make it, if not on holiday, Beswick, you can bet your bottom dollar that Harry & me would not leave them any chance to trip us up. Only once did it get a bit iffy, I got back for the firms do, and the Transport manager stood next to me at the bar, and said where are you, oh a good hundred miles away, he said I hope you are not claiming nightout money, well I will do that if you wish, but I will have to charge travelling costs, and that will be double of what the night out will be, he replid you only get travelling allowance, if you come home on compassion situation, so the dog died, have you proof, yes come to my house and I will dig it up. A director was there and laughing his head off, and said john I was in the office, when he was asked to do this job, and he said he was going to the firms do, also if he did it, he would be weekended, there was no one else who could do it, so why don’t you have a drink and forget he is here. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Hi Norm,
I would have loved to have attended that do,as you know not a BRS man myself, but an interested observer.Going on holiday on the 3rd so thats a miss for me,will make it another time. :frowning:
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Yes Norm loads of hair but don’t appreciate it, when i dare look at myself in the mirror it’s to put the razor to it, it’s easier to wash and dry, bit of the Yul or in my case Yuk Brynner’s but i keep telling my old lady i’ll let it grow again but what with the new teeth and flowing locks i may be too georgous for my own safety and could’nt be doing with having to fight the ladies off, been there, done that, bought the tee-shirt.
thanks harry long retired

hiya,
Frenchy, HELP.
thanks harry long retired.

Don’t ask Frenchy for help, I think he has gone in to double retirement, I was looking at a old thread Whiskey & fish lorries,in 2008 and he was on giving a comment, but I think he has got too fat and lazy to move from his telly. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :unamused: :unamused:     I wonder if that will spark some life into him.

hiya,
Norm Frenchy will be the same as us after all he is former red and ruster, he will be lean, bronzed, handsome and a babe magnet, at least i hope he takes after me, just hope he’s well.
thanks harry long retired.

There will soon be more of you on the bedside cabinet than in the bed Harry, what with your new gnashers and especially if you have a syrup as well!

Pete.
