Other alternative could be getting some add-on for Firefox which offers same kind of functionality to spoof the website to think you’re using IE.

Yeah there is an extension for firefox that does that, but the trouble is, it makes it look as if all their visitors are using IE, so there is no reason for them to stop doing it :unamused:

True again, and that’s why I don’t have any such extensions installed. If page doesn’t work with Firefox I just conclude that there isn’t anything which might interest me and surf to some other page.

Talking about not seeing pictures, a lot of timesall I get is a wee white box with a red X in it for the picture, same with some avatars. Now this does not happen on all pictures posted, on on some.

right click on the red x and see what it says. Something about the image not being loaded I expect. I can’t remember exactly now. Which web browser ?
It could be a firewall blocking the images, so you may have to allow the site where the images are hosted (the method depends on what firewall you have).
