Here is a fact, China claim no new cases in the country but have recorded cases with people newly arrived into the country.
Whilst airlines are still flying passengers to and from all corners of the globe, how is anyone going to have a chance to control this virus.
There is supposed to be a travel ban between all EU countries to the USA, but planes are still flying both ways, this is a screen shot taken at about 11:40 today.
They have keep planes flying even empty .otherwise under some stupid law there loose there take off landing slots at airports.
And also not sure if it’s an urban myth.
But have heard if every plane in the world is grounded…theres not enough space at airports to park them.all up

Is that screen shot showing only commercial passenger aircraft or is it all aircraft? I would have thought military, freight & private flights are still active even if there are fewer of them.
Mainly passenger, with a few dhl, fedex and the like.

Trying to see all the aircraft in the air in one snapshot - is just not going to happen.
You need to zoom in to see the smaller aircraft for example, and if you zoom in far enough - you can see those aircraft that may be large - but are currently taxiing about on the runways, but still putting out their callsign transponder signals…
There have been relatively FEW military aircraft about - not that I’m paying that much attention to what’s going on there…

Perhaps these chumps should have included “Letting Brexit Happen” - rather than giving Britain as a once-Island nation - a possible death sentence instead huh?
A general “Break-up” of different countries around the world - would have HELPED us all lock down this virus spread by this point. Instead, it has been a lockdown of the shengen zone in particular - that has come too late to stop what must now run it’s full course. By the time a full vaccine is developed, and rolled out - everyone will have either caught it, survived, and become immune - or perished along the way.
The very nature of “Pandemic” is that you WILL eventually now get it.
You don’t “Cure” a pandemic - you take up the opportunity to avoid it becoming a pandemic in the first place - by creating “fire breaks”, such as a total border lock-down, in our case needing to take place by Christmas 2019.
Back to aeroplane activity, I was looking at flights in and out of Italy and came across this small plane flying up and down above Milan, the same plane was doing this on Tuesday Thursday and now today, very odd.
