Bonjour Monsieur

Crikey. Sorry I spoke…

I did 14 years of continental and I never did it over there. But like one or two others, I DID do it here once.

Guilty…

Did it France and scared the crap out of a Renault 5 driver.

Never did it in England although there were times I really had to think which side I was aiming for.

Also guilty of getting in the passengers side and wondering who’d nicked my steering wheel and pedals a few times when I was LHD for the first time.

My first trip drove straight off the exit and into Orly Airport, the police looked up at me and laughed, gave them my CMR and needed a little industrial estate at the back, they took me out and where I needed to be, offloaded then drove out of the estate on the wrong side of the road, wasn’t till I got to the junction I realised.
And I’ve done it a few times since on both sides of the water.
It’s only funny when you see the fear in the eyes of the on coming driver

Anyway when brexit doesn’t happen.
And we have to go back and say brexit is cancelled we dont want to leave the ee.
We will be told you stay it will mean in time you drive on the right and have to adopt the euro as well
