Hello Chester1,
Yes there are lights at the ■■■■■■■ st junction now. Vehicle turns up Boughton Lane and parks alongside the Swan (see Street View link in earlier post) so does need to turn around. Deliveries used to be with a rigid or an urban, even a normal 13.6 metre sometimes, but arrived before 8am IIRC so able to go right round the car park easily.
There will be more fun next year since the ambulance station has been demolished in order to build a Sainsbury’s and about 15 houses. This will be alongside the new estate built on part of the fire station’s training area. This is now a very busy junction at times, queue reaches back to Armstrong rd and the Walnut Tree the other way sometimes.
LLoyds bank on the corner of ■■■■■■■ st was ram raided about two or three years ago - bricks everywhere!

Its a wonder folk don’t get crushed by dd taillifts, ive just started using them on occasion and when you’re coming down from the top deck with a full taillift of cages or palletised totes you cant see anything below coming from the n/s.
I thought Tesco stores set up for DD deliveries all had those special scissor lift bays installed for the job. Surprised to hear tail lifts being used - must take an age to tip & fill one via tail lift. They take long enough as it is, I know because I spend plenty of time waiting for them.

Some stores have dd bays and some dont, the dd’s tesco use are fixed floor ones so only get tipped on scissor lifts
