when will the French stop letting dogs and cats in restaurants..
Why should they?
Its only the H&S ■■■■’s who have brainwashed you into thinking they shouldn’t be there.
Ive always liked Cluses before going up the Blanc. Food has always been excellent and the staff very friendly.
I concur with Simon`s point about dogs and cats,(The French love to take their cats in their cars, they have a lead and collar on the cat,and i have seen them in restaurants.)
If you think about it,a dog and a cat live in the family household, they sleep on your pillow and duvet, they share your living and kitchen space, but are banned in public eating areas, with all those red warning signs we see of no animals allowed in public areas.
From May to September, dogs are banned on some beaches,i was once giving a good telling off by a distressed lady, who was offended that my German Shepherd was on Bournemouth beach in October, maybe she should have read the sign,or gone to specsavers.
In the uk,we have a passion for warning signs, and i hate all the moaners that quote to you, that you should have read the sign,we have a sign fixation.
So you like dogs in restaurants ? then go to the Fillipines or Indonesia, quite often see them inside there… served up on a plate with chips and gravy
I ate a fried dog on a train in Thailand, tiny bones.Went with the flow as they say.

Same here I don’t see a problem with dogs or cats in Resturants provided they stay on the floor.
This total obsession with hygine, might actually be causing health problems. After all as a species we’ve been evolving for millions of years to deal with an evironment full of bugs. Then in a few decades we try and make the places we spend our lives almost sterile.

We’ve all got to eat a peck o’ muck afore we die!!
A peck is a measurement of dry goods and amounts to 16pints
I don’t know why people worry so much, we let dogs and cats lick us, we enjoy oral ■■■ and what about French kissing

Exactly!
Did you know you can now buy a touch free soap dispenser for the home ?
The idea being that you won’t catch anything off the soap dispenser. Eh ■■?
You use soap to wash stuff off your hands, AFTER touching the soap dispenser, you don’t touch it after washing your hands. However you touch taps with dirty hands to turn the water on, then touch dirty taps with clean hands to turn the water off.
It’s getting beyond a joke now, all this sterile environment stuff.

And dry your body with a towel that is probably covered in bacteria

Hygine is big business, worth millions. They have to come out with more products and advertise them by playing on the fears they create about your home being full of germs, normally by having young children in the advert. Basically the advert says if you don’t buy this you’re a bad parent.
As children I think we spent half out lives covered in dirt, my brother favourite hiding places in games of hide and seek was on top of a muck heap. didn’t do him any harm health wise, but he is the tallest member of the family.

Agreed Simon, they do all this in hospitals, yet there’s still MRSA and C diff in them.
I guess it’s like any other complicated system, once it gets too complicated it implodes on itself.
I drank gallons of raw milk from my Dad`s farm as a nipper,we would wash the cows teats with hot water and then dip them in iodine solution after milking, the parlour had filters to catch the dirt but some would always get in the tank,no problem as it boosted all my families immunity,no chest or respiratory problems,as built up a resistance.
The tanker driver would test the tank for added water, and hygeine lab tests at the milk factory, one farmer added water,he got fined and his name in the paper, bit naughty that.
While cleaning out the cows living quarters for the winter months, the tractor scraper would drop down,if you had your mouth open, you would swallow the cows muck, never made me ill.
The kids that went to my old school looked white and had pasty skin, their mums were obsessed with hygeine, bleach in the loo, what is the point of that,do you eat in the loo bowl??
These firms are making millions a day flogging products we do not need, the Romans got by without all these chemicals, you had to wash down before you entered the cities, and surrender your arms hidden under your clothing.
eat s’'t-500 million flies can’t be wrong!

Help please, with old age setting in i can not remember where the Mille Pattes is located, even though i ate there twice a week.
There were some places that were spot on 4.30 hours driving to the ferry ports, handy that, non stop to the boat.
