Animal. He’ll get what’s coming to him in jail.I so hope you’re right.

It’s very unlikley that this beast will suffer any kind of retribution whilst in jail
![]()
Unless Prison Officers make him vulnerable to attack by other ‘non - segregated’ inmates

Anyone convicted of this type of vile crime can immediatey apply to the Governor of the prison for protection under Rule 45 (Personal Protection), this is usually done by people who have been convicted of a range of unacceptable crimes, not just unacceptable to John & Jane public, but also unacceptable to the criminal fraternity they might have to spend the next 3 - 5 yrs , or longer being incarcerated with

The usual system for a ‘seg’ wing is to block it off from the rest of the prison and whenever the inmate’s of that wing are moving about the rest of the prison is on ‘lockdown’. When high profile offenders have been attacked whilst in custody there usually has been some inside help to facilitate the attack.
This evil beast will more than likely pass his jail time ‘networking’ with other perverts and building contacts for the future and I’m sure he will be a danger to children and will offend again when he is eventually released

■■■ offenders cannot be re-habiltated they have to be watched and monitored for the rest of there live’s and these beasts are not only Male there are a lot of Female ■■■ offenders out there who don’t seem to get the same publicity as men do.

Dave Penn;It was changed to Rule 45 some years ago.
It is not a guarantee of total protection, as has been discovered by Ian Huntly and one or two other high profile cases recently.
It is also not unknown for those on protection to fight amongst themselves.
I’ve edited my post to reflect the change in Prison Service Orders: Rules on Segregation.
It is also not unknown for prisoners held on normal location to fight amongst themselves
My point was that the person in OP is very unlikely to be attacked whilst in prison because of the nature of his offence, he will be held in a unit that accomodates his peers ie; Other ■■■ offenders and paedophiles and they usually like to share their experiences and offending and if they do fight it is normally about property or baccy not about being a ■■■■■.
If for any reason he was attacked by a prisoner from normal location then collusion from prison staff would have to be forthcoming to allow that to happen. In the scheme of things he will be regarded as a low risk offender by staff however heinous we might view this scumbag pervert and I’ve yet to meet a Prison Officer who would put their career on the line for somebody like this, child ■■■■■■’s and child murderer’s now that is a different story
When you enter a prison you have to leave the ‘normal’ world behind there are a whole different set of rules and values that apply to staff and prisoners alike.
Like ‘crazytrucker’ I too went through a bad time after a very messy marriage breakup, lost everything and ended up homeless but before I got too far down into that very dark place
I managed to get some help got back on my feet and into further education and ended up going to Leeds Uni; as a mature student and doing agency work at weekends and odd days. From 1990 to 1996 I worked as an education subcontractor to the Prison Service across three West Yorkshire prisons and even had my own office within HMP Leeds, so my post is based on my own personal experience of the ‘system’ and how it works or certainly how it used to work
And I cannot see it having changed that much since I left as change was something the Prison Service found very hard to do.
