BACK TO THE FUTURE - Who's been where W/E 25/10/25

Go back a reread post ,
I wouldn’t moan about running in Saturday if i hadn’t worked all day sunday

I don’t do work now, I won’t work, I did a full shift for the best part of 50 years, what time I have left is all mine. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
I wouldn’t say no to 10 hours with a Mk 3 or a Mk 5 tanker (just to rekindle the memories

On second thoughts, at my age I doubt I’d last 10 hours. :joy:

Retired & haven’t been near a lorry for eight years  This week I’ve been to Bolton general, Wigan Linacre hospital, Leigh infirmary & Atherton clinic, all appointments for my Missus & meself + family members. I got my ‘I’ve had my flu jab’ badge from the district nurse today, what happened to the lollipops?

I’ve been retired over eight years now so don’t get around like I used to.

although yesterday me and “the bird” went to Leeds on the train, had a walk

to the Royal Armouries Museum and looked round for a few hours before taking

a water taxi to near the railway station and a walk through the Dark Arches to the train

home.

Next week she’s treating me to two nights in Blackpool for my birthday.

There certainly seems to be a theme here, with more and more TNUK members leaving the job or retiring.

*Would the last one out please turn off the lights

Can’t remember where I’ve been? Had 2 days doing less than 6 hrs each though :+1: Always paid for 12. Anyhow on my 4 off now so I’ll be going to Ourgate
