Any of you guys on B and M Stores ? Give us the lowdown ?
Give it a wide berth unless your really desperate mate
Go to one, and then try to imagine what it’s like to drive for them.

when pauline, and malcolm ran that place, they were really nasty pieces of work, especially her.
then the management took over, they expanded very quickly, but still ran it the same way.
my mates missus works there, she is one of the head buyers. she offered me the chance to take all the irish work for them. i thought, great i’ll just sub it to my boss. but something wasn’t right.
my mate had a quiet word with me, and explained that they are the same now as ever, they will shaft anyone they can, employees, and contractors.
he’s now a house husband and pot head. his missus is a fully functioning B+M management nasty piece of work.
some of their curry/bolognese sauces are just supermarket own brands that have been relabeled
blimey is it that bad there?
i see the wagons on the road and they do make me smile, guys have got the frilly curtains and etchings on the windows. just a shame their pride in their trucks dont stretch to washing them now and again. they look a right state
I have no experience with B+M other than the same observation as above.
I’ve never seen a B+M truck that looked half tidy, all scruffy looking.
Owned by Simon & Bobby Arora. Last I saw drivers pay was little over mimimum wage, different truck every shift, so why take pride?
Regularly advertise in our local paper, £8ph, there are extras but I cant remember what they are.
The depot was a ■■■■■■■■ in Blackpool & they’ve turned the one in Liverpool into something almost as bad
i recently took a load to the B+M warehouse in blackpool and what a total ■■■■ hole huge place but it looks like a bomb has gone off its not a place i’d be wanting to work …
it looked like a giant arther daley lockup and the only way to tell its B+M is the wagons , if i remember correctly it has an exhaust company name on the building …

I think it’d the old Timax exhaust place, and iirc, an old aircraft hangar perhaps?

That’s right Ken.
It looked bad, but the deliveries were always ok, staff were polite and friendly.
Delivered to the Liverpool one too, no problems there either. Sure the advert for the job was paying quite good wages, can’t remember exactly but got it in my head that it was good.
warning taken, cheers lads
They just opened a store in Redditch TC. Proper Alladins cave and some good bargains in amongst the tat. The trucks might be scruffy but the store isn’t.

thought u got on with simms pal
its called the vault in liverpool and they ain’t kidding. i arrived one morning when the staff were going home (shift change). you must really be a valued member of “the team” that on your way out there only one step away from jabbing a finger up your arse when you get searched on your way out and thats there own employees.
top quality kit circa 53 plate ex littlewoods scania and any dog of a double deck trailer that was auctioned that week and beleave it or not does get washed by some blokes in a van that turns up.

The Polish one with the ■■■■■■■■? Very friendly to.
I believe you are lucky to get 50hrs max in per week, wages IIRC £8 + per hour mon-sat and slightly more for Sundays, day work only , no tramping either or if there is it’s taken already
