Interesting read SDU, cheers!
Cyril Anderson was quite the entrepreneur, establishing the distribution rights for Mack and Peugeot, introducing Mazda to Australia, before starting to manufacture Leader trucks.
During this time he built a one truck business into the largest fleet in the country, which in part consisted of the largest fleet of Mack trucks in the country.
Sounds a bit like the ‘Come in Spinner’ feature in a magazine or newspaper I used to read when I was up there: Not saying it wasn’t true, but a well known pastime on lonely evenings.
My favourite was:
‘You heard about Black Bob who carried a cow up the slippery banks of Coolibah Creek?’
‘Well I was the bloke who was carrying Black Bob’
Absolutely horrific events on Bondi Beach when will this ever end ??
It won’t, it’s been going on since pre-biblic times.
It pi55es me off to the max, that these arsewipes have been given the opportunity to leave the sh ithole from where they came, for a good life here and they bring their lawlessness, tribalism and prejudices with them. I say leave them where they came from to murder each other until they’re all dead.
That off my chest, the vast majority do appreciate the opportunity given to them and conduct themselves peacefully and honourably.
I can agree with all that but i don’t think it’s a minority anymore. You will get all the usual crap coming out from all sides of the political spectrum condeming the actions but nothing will happen.I will leave it at that or Starmer will have me put behind bars. I’m seething
What a great story
Whatever your political or religious views and whatever grievances you might have, shooting at innocent people on the beach isn’t an answer. That’s all I’ll say.
Anyway, here’s an old HiAce: Toyota Hi Ace pickup | Well kept Toyota from the 70s still a… | atkipete | Flickr
Absolutely, in my old home town, but what a surprise I got when I turned on the news and saw an aerial view which included my old flat on Ben Buckler, the arm of land jutting out at the north end of the beach.
Bondi and Coogee used to be the place for cheap accommodation and backpackers, now it’s millionaires’ row.
I heard this morning that one of the murderers was attacked and disarmed by a member of the public but the hero’s now been arrested by police due to the amount of force used.Is this true or fake news. That sort of thing would happen here under this lunatic Prime Minister we have
Someone’s having a lend, Ramone.
The bloke who took the gun off the soft c ock is a Syrian tobacconist. I chuckled, thinking that chances are that he’s purveying illicit fags for a tenth of the cost of legit, tax paid ones.
Moe, Victoria.
yes ■■■ yes mate ! Right on ! you might be a bit more fortunate than us as we are being overrun with the fkrs currently and unless we can ,or be fortunate enough, to get this t–t Starmer out and Reform in asap matters will only get worse until we do !I’ll take this opportunity SDU to wish You and Yours a very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous and healthy 2026 .
I think the longer this goes on the more chance of civil war in this country. The boundaries are being pushed and no one’s stopping it.The Bradford riots happend 25 years ago in an area of Bradford where my dad was born. They targeted white traders only and raised them to the ground.A working mens club had the doors blocked and set on fire. Now there’s only asian traders. The place is a ■■■■■■■■■ They won they got what they wanted. Nobody invests in Bradford and as for City of culture whose culture it certainly isnt ours.
