anyone wishing to know more about this should make sure that they purchase a copy of the april edition of trucking which features a story on chris hoopers last trip ever.
it looks like an excellent read an i am saving it for this coming week.
for the measly sum of £2.40 you too could enjoy the tales of life in the shoes of chris hooper.
there is also a chance to win some goodies by entering a questionnaire about the industry, yourself and your view of the industries future.
i have to wonder how many people i will meet now that reckon they know chris hooper and have travelled the same route, jeez - i’m getting bored at the thought of it all already.
perhaps chris should write a book on how to spot a faker so i would know when i’m being b/sed to.
having read some of the other stuff on this type of long distance work i’m happy to say that i have never crossed those borders and never will whilst sitting behind a steering wheel but could possibly if the wings stay on the airplane.

you can easily spot a faker they talk to much about the job listen to them 30 year old men talking abouy the golden days must have a copy of colacowboys egg

I didn’t doubt you in the slightest Egg. Truckyboy would have spotted a faker straight away. I was trying to be ironic.

has anyone any idea what seymour want astran for■■?

Was Astrans even doing much? The impression I got from the article in “Trucking” is that the companies work was almost non-existent anyway. Are they actually sending loads to the Middle East at present or is it at a total halt now?

Hi Egg,

Whats the deal with return loads back to Europe from the Middle East? Much going or is it often a case of running back empty to Turkey/Greece/Italy for a load home?
