Argos R560 V8

I think it looks nice, looks smart in a subtle way, then again I think even there new little scanias don’t look bad. The side skirts finish them off.

Won’t be long till there all battered and abused. And them alloys won’t shine for too long

it’ll come in handy for the annual jolly to Portugal

If Tesco did something like that, I’d never get a chance
But then it’d probably be that black Axor thing…

You mean something like this:

Saw this in Birch services, it did make me chuckle.

Quite a few retail places doing this driver of the year Markley ■■■■

Could be worse - DHL/Iceland give out Renault premiums in sickly silver!

It’s fir there new Europe stores.

That rear windows knocked 3k off the resale

Massive overkill, they run light and at 52mph…
Should have just specced up a 420 with all the bells and whistles.

Your just jealous cos it’s got 60 more horses than yours :grimacing:  :stuck_out_tongue:

does anyone know if it is actually a 560? it could just be an ego badge

Friend of mine was up there yesterday prepping it for the road

Could of at least splashed out on an Actros

B&Q did something similar for their driver of the month.
I bumped into it at B&Q Chippenham back in 04/5
No idea if they still do.

Because that’s what most drivers in the UK are used to driving…

I wasn’t being funny, but as its being described as a dedicated euro lorry that’s been spec’d from the job I’d have thought they’d have got one in lhd like many other UK firms do… Of course I’m abit biased now though.

Not many UK or Irish companies buy LHD trucks. Its very much the exception. Dedicated euro or not Argos buying a LHD would be a bit nuts anyway. Wouldn’t exactly be very versatile

Was there much damage?

I’d just be depressed giving it back. And I’d get all :smiling_imp: :imp: :smiling_imp: :imp: when other drivers abused it. I fear it’ll be trashed in six months like the rest of them :unamused:

Since when has a trailer full of lego and hair straighteners required a lorry with 560ponies to get it upto 37mph  has the trailer got anchors instead of wheels?
