I remember seeing a programme about the bamboo railway in Africa. Its a line that the British surveyed but didn’t complete because aircraft became viable instead. The Chinese have really mastered the art of railway engineering so they have taken it on. Tesla cars are being manufactured in China and Volvo is owned by a Chinese conglomerate.
