I can confirm my neighbours Budgie also died a confirmed covid case. It was a fat sod as well. There is growing evidence that thin people who poke themselves in the eye with a sharp stick everyday remain unaffected by the virus. I haven’t seen any reported cases of one-eyed people on a diet dying in the statistics.
Of course I believe them. Why would highly trained professionals all over the world tell us things that were not true? Why do they all have similar opinions? You are not telling me they confer behind our backs or do it for fun or to wind us up. Sorry but I don’t get your way of thinking.

This will all blow over eventually, just like all the rest of the doomsday predictions. Boris, if his own party hasn’t thrown him out by then, will tell us if it wasn’t for him we’d all be dead by now and the Muppet faithful will cheer.
With six million unemployed, bankruptcies and home repossessions at record levels, Boris will inform us that he needs to get us back to work, which he’ll do by a week next Wednesday if climate change doesn’t kill us all first and what a spiffing jolly economy he and his chums will create.
And do you know what? Tens of millions will believe him, that’s the funny part. Stand by for the next paranoid belief of one legged green Martians invading earth and killing whole populations. 
I have had the covid test sent to me where I’ve held the swab under the tap, sealed it and sent it back.
Funny enough I got an positive result a few days after. Makes you wonder if they are even testing them or if they even work.

Not at all, I take it you’re one of the believers.
Environmentalist Al Gore had a tremendous following among the world’s scientific community as well as the usual sheep and became very wealthy out of it, even when proven wrong. Likewise, Greta also made a few shekels out of her ‘Green revolution’ and got a standing ovation from the UN with her ‘how dare you’ climate strike rant. Gullibility isn’t confined to just sheep like followers.
Some pretty powerful credentials in those ‘small group’ of scientists (actually they’re more medical experts). It was in a reply to Jake who said all the medical experts agreed.
Plague proportions? Yes definitely. Don’t you remember the headlines when it all started? Millions could die, fridge trailers in hospital car parks, compared to the WW1 influenza epidemic in which an estimated 20-50 million died …? Come on, be honest, didn’t it get you going in a kind of ‘we’re fighting for our lives chaps’ way? It really doesn’t matter though, as when this latest panic fizzles out another one will replace it, honestly.
Even though the huge death rate never happened the propaganda is so persuasive that even if the government now admitted they made a mistake people like yourself still wouldn’t believe it. When we look at places like North Korea (yes, I’ve been there), we often laugh and wonder how a whole population can believe in nonsense. Well, in the same way that the British politicians and media convinced millions the safest place to avoid the plague like deaths that never happened is to stay indoors and wear a paper mask.

The government have not done a great job however the fact they have never dealt with anything like this before does not make it easy. In the meantime we have to protect the vulnerable first and worry about the economy second. This is a dangerous virus despite what anyone says. Cheers Rob for your concern but don’t worry about me. We are fine where we are, basically a little community in the middle of nowhere! No masks in sight. 
I’ve actually enjoyed all this going on because it gives me plenty time to do exactly what I want and when I want and without breaking any rules.
It does bother me though when I hear of all the covidiots back in the Uk. Yes they are here too apparently but I don’t see them.

A vaccine against what? A flu? There’s one already on the market, it’s called Lemsip! For complications such as pneumonia there’s antibiotics. Yes, they have dealt with this before. Covid-19 is a variant of SARS. Even if 1 million have died out of the world’s population and that’s without massaging the figures which the government admits has been going on, that’s something around 0.01% of the world’s population.
