Anyone else stuck on the m6?

I bet Welcome Break were ■■■■■■ off, the S/B side was like a ghost town last night. At least 30 artics on the hard shoulder too… Some people do not understand the meaning of a “Safe Place to stop”… :unamused:

I s’pose that trailer will have to be re painted, maybe even new curtains.

Been sat in the middle lane an hour…between junction 15 and 16

That’s nothing, I see plenty of car drivers who blatantly go the entire length of the M6 in the middle lane.

3 wheeler:
Driver must like his/her tractor unit as they uncoupled it and moved it away, or just didn’t have time to remove their personal stuff !

I see its maxi haulage the guy probably managed to save the trailer lenses and bulbs aswell (maxi drivers might find that funny  )

Looks like they went for MAXImum burn :open_mouth:

Driver did exceptional work removing unit!!! I would do the same if safe and possible!

Think about it. Insurance cost for trailer and stuff inside, insurance cost for unit (saved) - next years pay rise :exclamation:

Plus all belongings etc. Damage limitations. Drop in correct procedure or just pull pin and GO!

The trailer was on it’s knees so suzies, pin and go go go :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I was the driver

Lol. You sound like Murray Walker mate.

Anthony-are you out of Appleton mate?

Yes

You’re obviously a man of few words Anthony. A trait I admire immensely, keep up the good work.

First time on forum. Just thought what abuse I would get. But some of the comments I read were funny. Getting a lot of abuse from northbound drivers mainly white van man

I am one of your next door neighbours mate. (Stobart’s).

No abuse Anthony, everyone enjoys a good barbeque! Mind, if you’d been photographed donning your hi vis before pulling the pin then all bets would be off.

The Maoster is correct Ant. On here, you will find we don’t match expectations. Any banter on here will normally be lighter. You will encounter the odd bright spark, but there is no point in letting it ignite a response from you. Heated debates are one thing, but if things end up being said about your employer, they might fire you.

At the end of the day, you are ok and employed which is good news. Careful with the hours though, don’t burn the candle at both ends. Its a shame about the trailer. Good that you saved the unit, but still singed with tadness.

I will look out for you pal when I am across the road.

I’m off for a quick smoke. Keep her lit pal.

Worked for Stobart on waggon and drag

Haha I can imagine the phone call to the office, “you’ll still make the ferry tho yeah?”
