You are so right two weeks ago had four orange men call my sons best friend a fenian ■■■■■■ he is only 7 years old, how brave for four men standing in their garden to hurl sectarian abuse at a boy. Sadly these attitudes are deeply entrenched in certain sections of our society. Not one of these so called men are over the age of 20 so the only memories that they have of the troubles are what has been passed down to them by their parents will take several generations before these attitudes are a thing of the past. Polish flags are also being burnt on several bonfires so we can add racism to that as well as sectarianism.

Well said Silver this all may look like a harmless but it is all about politics and each year the law is pushed a little more. In England if a member of one religious group broke into another’s place of worship and stole a religious icon and burnt it before the worlds press there would be an outrage yet this is acceptable in N.I. WHY?. This is not coming from a ranting nationalist just someone who wants his children to grow up in a society where you are judged on who you are and not on your name or which school you went to.
