Andyfreight: Thinking of the children

That baby is crying out for a Hitler moustache.

EDIT: Didn’t see Oatcake1967’s post.

The best use of a kid to guilt trip drivers is the signs on the M62 roadworks. Please drive carefully, my dad works on this site!

The kid is in all the safety gear too, just not strapped to the trailer :frowning:

I wouldn’t strap each pallet in that load either. Its single stack, relatively stable. I might bung a ratchet strap over the back pallet, just to make sure that the load doesn’t move backwards, but there doesn’t appear to be anything there which will not be held by friction and a decent set of curtains.

Oh, i say that, ain’t they IBCs up at the headboard?

I prefer to be following something like this instead

You noticed it- and noticed it enough to comment on it- the marketing agencies work is done here  getting noticed is what marketing is all about, and even better you associated the image with the company/brand and while you may dislike the image/idea you have just proved its effective…

When ■■■■ (French Connection UK) first started out in the UK they produced a lot of deliberatly offensive adverts - very few people liked the adverts but French Connection UK became very quickly a well known brand from no where

Bloody auto censor which idiot is charge if that?

5hrs? You on domestic rules?

You can be on the M25 for 5 hours and not do any driving

See a lot of Belgian & Dutch trucks over here with adverts on the back of trailers…

If the transport companies are being paid by an adverising agency, then for me It’s easy money…

Obviously its working - you remember the company name, and you caused a discussion on the company here…

Does not matter if they say good or bad things, as long as they spell the name correctly

If it gets you work why not i cant seem the problem!!!

Transportes Saint Arnold are a big one for that, French or Beligan beer all over the back doors. As if to rub it in… :imp:

I bought my missus some Sloggi knickers just because I had seen them painted on a trailer

Na mal you thought they said soggy

…Do you have to slog away trying to get them off, or are you “one of them” just happy to sit behind and sniff every now and then? :unamused:

Clever marketing ploy or tasteless use of a child’s face just to attract attention?

Personally, I can’t stand them. I think they look cheap and tacky.

Does anybody here drive for the imaginatively named Andyfreight? What’s it like driving around all day with a gigantic picture of someone else’s kid stuck to your arse end?

I’ve seen quite a few out and about, but I’ve not had the misfortune of being stuck behind one yet. I can’t imagine it’d be much fun sat on the M25 with a massive baby staring into your soul for five hours.

Anybody care to disagree?

5hrs? You on domestic rules? :open_mouth:

There’s a walking floor (I think it was) trailer for a joinery company in ■■■■■■■ (maybe penrith) with a fit bird on the back in a tool belt and hard hat etc… Very nice. Was being pulled by a Jenkinsons motor, so maybe something to do with them. Can’t remember the company name though.
