Unfortunately the finger is always pointed to people of Eastern European descent when there is an accident as if they are always in the wrong. As a newly pass driver I found in my little existence “those” EE lads being the most helpful and “our” lads full of themselves as if its their right… obviously we should not tar everyone with the same brush

I agree, the EE’s i find on my travels are always friendly and willing to share what little they have in a group gathering around the stove and most have far more driving experience than many UK drivers have but think you’ll find blaming them for every accident is just the ‘thing’ to do, much the same as blaming agency drivers for every misdemeanour. Some of it is borne out of ignorance but much of it just tongue in cheek…

All harmless fun… I mean, when have you ever heard of one group of people getting constantly blamed for the ills of a country, and it’s not as if it would would turn nasty…
