Ahhhh Monday! today is my Friday. 8hrs Sat 10hrs Sun and probably 9hrs today all for a nice weeks wage. Thank you very much Transline I appreciate it. Seya next Saturday.
get out there and do a proper weeks work ya lazy SOB Just imagine if you worked during the week too, you could buy that C63 AMG you always wanted
It costs me more money to work during the week in childcare. My current working pattern is perfect for my family. The mrs is a school teacher too so holidays will be great us all off together. Wouldn’t change it for anything.

Everytime I go off on holiday, an agency monkey takes my truck for the duration & every time I return to find damage, & anything left in the truck has been looked at with a view to stealing it!
I’m not joking here either, other lads have had stuff go walkies from their cabs whilst staffed by the doughnuts & their favourite trick seems to be leaving cab windows down or even doors left open when up the dusty end of our yard, hence the cab full of dust!! Or the dirty boot marks up on the bunk! these fannies don’t give a toss & have no respect for anything!
Their will be some good agency drivers but in my experience, it’s no surprise they can’t secure a job of their own!
what a ■■■■ you are, no wonder agency drivers ■■■■ with you, and it’s not your truck you fool, your just the ■■■■ that drives it the most. 100% you drive about with your name on a reg plate stuck in the window, big eddie or some such cockish thing and most likely a celtic flag.

Welcome to Trucknet Addi. You’ll not win many friends by sitting on the fence like that! Say what you mean man ffs!
I drive for a agency in the winter when my own work tails off,i treat the wagon as if it was one of my own vehicles and I have worked full time for perhaps two of the better driving jobs Charringtons the brewers where 30 years ago I was earning£25000 a year and Shell u.k when health problems took my H.G.V from me.A lot of full time drivers treat you like something the cat has dragged in but I just smile to myself and think how sad they are when we are all equal and whata sad life they must live if all they have to talk about is how bad agency drivers are .

OK, since you’re new on here, I’ll point you to the thread entitled ‘pictures of your truck’…Where you’ll see my (employers ) truck in all its glory & no sign of a name plate nor a Celtic flag to be seen! So if you’re gonna base your future posts on guesswork, then DON’T…Cos you’re no ■■■■■■’ good at it!
Anyway, I appear to have struck a raw nerve with you, but try to keep your spirits up matey, I’m sure the agency will phone soon with details of your next assignment.
You probably don’t realise this but, you’ll find most of the drivers on here that drive the same truck over a number of years will refer to it as ‘my truck’, We’re all well aware as to who owns or leases them, so don’t panic too much in future when you see it written on here…eh?? Pancake flipper!
Just carry an empty cardboard box, empty the contents of the truck into the box, and leave it in the ■■■■■■■■■■■■ till you get back…job done, everyone happy…except the real driver when he finds out… …I`m only joking, before you start shouting your mouths off…all I ever do is clear the windscreen, especially if it has a stupid name there.

There you go again with the guesswork thing! You see my location is in Scotland & think you’ll roll out an anti-Scottish line? Tut tut, I aint a local. But I’m sure the Scottish guys will love you for it.
Pancake (all one word) flipper…T-O-S-S-E-R get it?
And finally, “your just more desperate for friends than me” So, tell us, how desperate for friends are you then? Do you read your posts back to yourself before posting?..Maybe you should.
P.S. ‘your’ should read ‘you’re’ Thicko! (No wonder the agency don’t call you!)

Im am agency driver and have been for the last 4 1/2 years and wouldn’t change it started doing 2 shifts and the following week done 5 shifts and its been like that since with the same company. There is 26 company drivers and 6 agency drivers in the depot and we all treated the same including six monthly assesments but I have the freedom to take a week off when I want and a higher pay rate but downside is no holiday pay [self employed] the company run good tackle and all defects are dealt with on the spot.I have been offered to go fulltime a few times but have said no as I prefer to stay the way I am but the have been some roasters sent in from other agencies who I would not give a Transit van too including one last week who claimed he had been driving from the year dot,the type who starts a story"when I was pulling out of Madrid " and got pulled up the next day for misuse of the mode switch and the reply? “whats the mode switch” ffs!!! and the other side a full time driver who was told to strap down 27 ton off chipboard on the back of a curtainsider came back and told the boss it was done and was asked how come the straps and ratchets are still outside the office? “oh I just used to internal ones”!
