You do realise that we do exactly the same job as a full timer? Same units, same trailers, same deliveries! The deliveries still need delivering because some full timers think they are entitled to a day off once in a while
I reckon we do a better job
some of these full time drivers do talk crap at times when it comes to agency drivers, quite sad really

I mean a proper job as in one that gives you a bit security. A job where you donāt have to sit by the phone waiting for it to ring in the hope that you might get offered a crap days work that nobody else is willing to do.
Iāve got a proper job with an agency, I donāt have to wait for the phone to ring and I know well in advance which days Iām working, in fact this Christmas Iām only working Boxing day night, how many agency drivers can say they know that far in advance?

Donāt get too excited, itāll probably get cancelled an hour before.

We have more to lose. Its far easier to get rid of us so we really have to raise the bar to keep in with a good client
agency drivers have to be unless I set contracts more flexible than a full timer, as they can work at 1-2-3 different places in a week.
I would say that its as always unfortunate that a few bad ones give the rest a bad name. mind you look at some of the questions asked on here by full time company drivers and you wonder who is worst!

agree with that,i reckon its just jealousy with the full timers,a lot of agency drivers can manage on 4 days a week so if we donāt want to work on a Friday we can look forward to a long weekend, regulars cant unless they book it as a days holiday

allways said that if I won the big one I would do a couple of days a week with an agency just to see the look on the face of the boss of the company when they see an agency pull up in a Bentley, that would be a laugh
was a stobrat driver from stoke depot who won a few million pounds
held out for as long as he could
and told 'em to stick it where the sun donāt shine
