Address on paperwork ADR

Maybe another one for DD. If the paperwork has an address on it and when you get there the customer has moved, as long as the office says its OK to, can you go to the new address? It seems a silly question, just wondering if ADR regs state something about delivering to an address that is not on the POD?

Thanks

Hi theonlybigman,

For normal ADR work, there’s nothing in the Regs about that situation, so it’s OK to deliver to the new address.
It’s a bit different if it’s explosives or radioactives, cos you can’t just drop that kind of stuff at a random address.

To cover my arse, I’d check with the consignor before delivering just in case there are any payment issues.

Thanks Dave, sorry for the late reply this is the first chance I have to do it. I thought as much but it did seem a bit of a thought provoking question when asked
