Once wages are in my bank I’m going after him. 4 days you done well ! Fitted a clutch in an 1840 merc a couple of years ago.Learnt the clutch and parked it outside the work shop.
Monkey comes and picks it up and buggers off with it.
15 minutes later he comes back and says “truck not move”
He had coupled to a trailer on a bay ,not pushed the park valve,put the unit in first high and burnt the linings off the spinner plate.The truck had done less than 300 meters.
Takes about 30 seconds to screw a clutch if the stupid pillock driving it doesnt know what the hell they are doing.But its never their fault!
If it was recovered in and the recovery company didnt remove the propshaft or halfshafts then that would do more damage than you could ever do

Volvo recomend always pull away in 1st even just a few feet then a block change otherwise it will knock the clutch out

how come the i shifts will always start in a higher gear ? my fmx i had for a while used to start in 5th(3rd low ?)
Only been paid 4 days now on questioning was told now got to go in and download card for rest of monies. Funny that but I’m going in on way to my new job
