A66 - "OOPS"

Looks like a Currys trailer :stuck_out_tongue: probably from Newark

Like most of us I’ve seen lots of accidents but never seen the vehicles being recovered. Is there a site where I can watch vids of the vehicle recovery being carried out. Must emphasise it’s purely the mechanical recovery side I’m interested in, not the human misery side.

there was a well boss moment on the A465 Gilwern roundabout last night , looked like a skelly trailer split in two ! Unit with a single 20’ container resting it’s arse on the ground while the axles were on the other side of the road

cant belive no ones spotted the load is still ok, and looks to have been strapped pretty well :exclamation:

I thought it looked empty and maybe had been blown off the road by the wind given the surrounding area :S

It makes you wonder how safe double deckers are doesnt it?.

Maybe they should be banned from certain high wind roads employers will never listen but maybe after a few hundred drivers die or get maimed they might consider it.

the volvo recovery unit started life as a tractor unit at simpson bros. . there you go another bit of useless information for you all.
