In your HGV training you are instructed to expect and allow for vulnerable road users. At no point were you instructed to claim that they want to kill themselves.
An innocent man is going about his lawful business, doing nothing wrong, and HGV drivers here claim that he must be suicidal.
It’s an HGV driver’s job to see other road users. Saying " I could barely see him!" is not an excuse for hurting people, it’s an admission that you clearly can’t do your job.
