A2 london bound transporter crash

pump:
Anyone know what company owns the car transporter in the crash?

I worked for a well-known company wand was shocked to find out they hired a new driver with zero experience driving trucks. He had passed his artic test 8 wks beforehand. They gave him a two wks training and let him out by himself driving a 10 car transporter.
First car got wrecked only days after he was out by himself.

Pure insane letting lads out like that!

I’ve trained many transporter wannabes, the ones with zero experience are just as good as the ones with 10 years on general. I have found that complete novices come with an open mind. I’ve also found that a lot of experienced drivers find it easier to quit and go back to curtainsiders. It does not matter what experience you have or don’t have elsewhere you will bend cars to start with.

I have to say it isn’t a job I’d want. The responsibility and the personal risk climbing around when it is cold and wet and windy is not for me, you have my respect.

+1

Its no a job for me either, you’d be feart of every tree in case it scratches a motor.

Bad enough with a curtain sided decker eh, let alone scouching a brand new line of 5 series lol

Is it just me or does there seem to have been a lot of incidents involving transporters recently? One overturned on A34 a few weeks ago then there was one on M1 and then this. Is it the standard of driving which is slipping in this sector?

I would totally agree
