There was a shot load last week at the top of the northbound entry slip road which closed the road & caused chaos in the surrounding areas, & after recent threads I did wonder if Dozy was in the vicinity at the time.

I used to avoid that junction by coming off at South Muskham and taking the “old road” into Newark, left at the T and out again. The advantage being that I arrived at the nasty roundabout on a different approach and it was much easier to enter as well having the benefits of a more scenic route. And I wasn’t bothered if it took a bit longer

Normally I’d say that was a little bit prejudiced, but when I glance across at overtaking left-■■■■■■ EEs I always feel a bit shocked how many are fiddling with a phone, just holding it in plain sight.
