No longer bright and shiny a Class 50 ekes out its last few days in service, a bit like the very run down condition of the final Routemaster buses running in London in 2004/5. There are some interesting comments, particularly the last few arguing over potential speed of the class.

Class 13’s (2 class 08’s coupled minus 1 cab) only 3 rigs made and operated at Tinsley yard which was slap bang next to the M1 northbound.

Did anyone else notice the highly appropriate THANK YOU and Poppy livery on LNER Azuma 800111 which has been at Huntingdon Station the last few days?
Hopefully at some future time we shall see a locomotive renamed Samir Zitouni GC.
