Hi all yes another successful get together at tim’s it was good to see horace and busser there that was a real suprise but good to see them and every one else that turned up.sorry you had to work tribbsa but yes when you phoned there was only me and mr smith still there and we were just leaving.hope you can make it next year. i am sure there will be lot’s of photoes on here in a minuet.

I remember talking to Ralph Davies years ago about the differences in VOLVO/Scania. He said one is a Merc and the other a BMW. Both good but it’s what you prefer.
However, I am geting to like the Scania, does what is says on the tin, with no fuss. The cab interior is roomy and light. So much so that I now find the FH cab opressive! Not too keen on the look of the outside of the R series, those “nostrills” on the sides of the grill put me off. “Honky”.
All that,s missing now Gazza is the steel toecaps, high viz and a helmet and you,ll be a proper UK lorry driver.
