Hi Gary, I thought that pic was of you and Simone !!, I was in the Glass House at Tournus this week, Norbert & Jacqueline’s was shut, thought of you when I went up the Ski slope over the steel works.

Hi Ian, glad to hear you made a full recovery, I think that Tony Hilton was married to Dave East’s sister, and she got killed coming back to Southampton one night from Liphook.

Welcome back Rich, wondered why you were so quiet. You didn’t
miss anything at Norbert and Jacquelines as last time I was there it
was a dump I’m sorry to say as it was one of the very best

Still I think the Glass House is the best place for you!

Hope you enjoyed the steel works viaduct as you know I wouldn’t!!! :unamused:

Ref your reason for your trip, is that Wheely, Wheely Twue?

Regards GAZ

No I think the Oasis was near the lake at Nantua.
I asked Mick about his time in Turkey he thought it was somwhere near Weymouth so no not him.Does anybody recognise the old Guy in that pic I think it belonged to a Geordie who lived in Hartley Witney used to be a bit like Barnesy used to buy take them down sell and fly back. That was in the mid 70s
Any one know him?

Ian,
As Mappo put the pic on and he’s driven a lot of Big J’s I think he might be the driver, I only say this because the curtains are on the outside !!,
Kind regards Richard

:sunglasses: hi lads, just thought id let you know that one night i was climbing the old blanc, in heavy snow and had just done the bit were you went under the viaduct and crossed over the ravin, well i was just about to go round the last left hander thinking ill get a coffee in the elf station, when one of stouff wagon and drags went straight out over the edge and landed in a pile of smashed up motor on the bottom of the ravin, and low and behold the driver got out of it alive, two broken legs and a few more injuries he was a lucky guy.Can anyone on this rawlings site remember when dave was on the p–s in southampton one night and on the way back he left the road in his car at ottly bends???bev.

Charlie

Hello,
Talking to Wee Jock (ex Davies) the other day, he bumped into Kevin Reid driving an Ings bulker up at Grimsdyke grain store,on the Blandford road just outside Salisbury.

Kev was the ex rugby playing guy from Fordingbridge.

Does anyone see Mark Venus around?

Regards,
Jed.

Good luck to Charlie today in hospital.

Was anyone on the Townsend boat, one particularly bad crossing in the winter, few punters, when Polly secretly emptied a tin of Russian Salad in a carrier bag in the bar, pretended to be sick in it and then proceeded to put his hand in, infront of the assembled punters, and ate the contents? If they were on the verge of being sick before…they were certainly after that!

I,m glad i,ve eaten my tea Gazza :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
I can just imagine Polly doing that.

Hi all, someone asked about mark venus he is working for kevin rawlings still doing skins to italy every week .

As Jimmy Rawlings used to refer to Mark :ā€œPretty Boyā€ due to his earing!
