Didn’t Les Charles drive one of Harline’s white Maggie 310’s I think he later went on to wreck one of Mammoth’s Mercs

Les did wreck a Merc big time, he had a black out then come round heading for a bridge parapet and tried jumping out, didn’t do himself or the Merc any good he never drove from that day. last time I saw him was a few years ago, he was never the same after that accident.

Hello Kevin sorry about the delayed answer but I’ve had probs with my computer In brief, I cocked up my user name and my computrer would not let me correct it so I had to create a new email address and user name (hence the naf name) and pass word ( the third time of trying) anyway I’m here now! Iworked for Horace from 72 to 85 with a year out when I made yachts in Alresford I don’t know about the F12 driver .There was a bloke called John Blue Eyes driving anF12 , and I eventualy got an F12 after sargent magers Transcon and Streeter’s 111 (which I bent). I saw the pics of the bash you all looked to have a good time there didn’t seem so many people there this time, I expect the date fell wrong for some people .Re the colour of the visor on the 140 weeeel I looked at the pic again and if it’s blue it’s pretty dark! I can’t really remember (getting old and all that) It could have been dark green, the unit was white and green! but then Charlie has got an exceptional memory! If you haven’t already guessed my user name used to be andybyname! Right lets find some more pics Cheers Andy
