You dont get out of bed most days because you cant or wont work but you have been invited into a world where you can advise the other people on this board…

Meet me or forever shut the very big mouth…
I think you’ve been on the bottle or something. Post makes no sense whatsoever when no-one has any [zb] clue where this “meeting” has come nor WTF it’s about.
Tacho see if you can make some sense of it . Too many numpties on this site talking rubbish.
So there is no “meeting” after all then? Are you still planning to “shut us both up” though? Brilliant advert for FLAIR TRAINING - do as we tell you or we’ll send the boys round to shut you up. Thankfully there are no shortage of other, respectable training companies out there for people to use.
LGVTrainer:
Probably around 50% of candidates that I meet already have a clear idea of what they are going to do after passing the test. Some are going to work for their existing employer, some already have a promise of a job, some aren’t even doing the LGV for a job (ie private horsebox driving).
And again there is the answer to this problem staring you in the face. Stick to training this 50% and stop training the other 50%. It’s a win, win situation as it will increase the chances for those who have already laid out hundreds of pounds and stop others throwing good money after bad. I realise this isn’t going to make it easy for you to screw drivers by getting them to work for nothing, or fork over more than £1 from their hourly rate for the pleasure of working but I guess the situation is getting so serious sacrifices have to be made. Often the simple solutions are right in front of you.

I met someone this week, a member on here but more a reader rather than a poster, who did their training with this guy and the things he told me, if true, are anything but a brilliant advert for Flair Training.
I understand what you are saying, but I disagree, It is about time that Trainers (and some do) realised that the vast majority of candidates have saved hard for their training and in many cases spending every cent they have.
So is it not part of what a training school should offer, to get the trainees employed, I firmly believe that this is part of the job, Training dosn’t stop when a cadidate passes his test, nor should the service we provide, I am aware that there isn’t much profit in training but if we can’t offer the service our customers need then perhaps we are in the wrong Job.
As Peter said in his reply, like us he has agencies crying out for drivers, we have regular meetings with agencies we deal with and they will take our passes and get them into work.
We place 80% of our candidates who require work into employment something we are proud of and guess what we do not charge a penny. Many are members on here likewise we are always available when they are at work to answer questions they might have.
Now it is fair to say that some candidates spend their money (not many) and expect to get in a brand new truck work 9-5 and earn 45k when that job becomes available I will take it myself.
