I’ve mentioned on here before he is a now a truck driver, I’ve been told he got in to the game as he wanted to start his own firm. Maybe after starting his way in the industry he realised it’d be easier to earn a few quid driving then risk losing his assets?
He has always been approachable and was quite a hero to forest fans I’d love to of worked along side him now having sung his name countless times at the city ground
I believe neil webb is a postman.
Thought it was the bloke off catch phrase at first till I googled him. I also thought he was just shopping there rather than delivering there at first a la doing a John Terry in Poundland,
Fair enough if he wants to do the job rather than has to as he’s skint because let’s face it going from a famous footballer on loads of wedge to being a trucker would be a bit of a drop in kudos.

No, Neil Webb works for Pulleyns, Reading, in the warehouse.

Me too
Alex Ferguson is on for Stobarts.
Oh no sorry it’s another red faced Scotsman with a chewing gum addiction and a fetish for throwing football boots at people.
Oh hang on I know bugger all about football.
i remember reading about des walker and his new career-driving artics was something he always wanted to do.fair play.
he surely isnt short of a few pound as when he played for sampdoria in italy he was on 40 grand a week!!
op-why didnt you just approach the bloke and have the craic and point him in the direction of our brotherly forum instead of accusing him of having a fall from grace? i dont recall des walker being caught up in any scandal so dont see what the problem is.

I did have a laugh with him, wasn’t saying there was a problem, just simply pointing out, that waiting to tip in the ■■■■■■■ down rain in Hackney, is a considerable step down from the 40k a week he was getting in the sunshine 20 years ago
