9 hours not enough?

Its all horses for courses really and relative to ones own circumstances and pay rate.

If I was earning a good wage doing 40-50 hours would i want to work 60-70.
Not really but if my employer requested it I definately would and be happy to.

So shockingly for some I want to be an asset to my company rather than a liability.

What tends to happen is that although your manager may think your a soft touch he also think hang on this guy will do the extra work so I will ask him first.

In the past the same drivers who moaned at me doing the extra hours would also moan when overtime dried up for them and I always got a bit extra.

At the end of the day i don’t begrudge anyone wanting to work less hours or not do extra runs but give them to me I need the extra cash, I have a wife and two mistreses to feed, just i never get chance to see them.

As others have pointed out, it depends on ones own circumstances. Personnally I would be looking for more than 8-9 hours from a shift…

My own target is to earn at least £150 a shift, so depending on the customer and the hourly rate I will put the hours in needed to reach my goal.
