travelling east on the m4,around 1230 one night,approaching brynglas tunnel…the overhead signs were flashing “accident after tunnel”.
next set…same again,next set informed lane 3 was closed.this carried on up to the tunnel were they now said 30mph…lanes 2 and 3 closed.
as i entered the tunnel i could see blue flashing lights reflecting off the walls,then as i emerged i was met with a blinding array of blue flashing lights.
it was at this point i noticed(on an otherwise deserted road) a car approaching at speed,in lane 3 
now im thinking "whats this ■■■■ doing",and i slow right down,to give it an escape route.
but no…the car noticed at the last second and screeched to a halt,coming to rest just short of a police car that was parked behind an ambulance,in lane 3.
there was a copper stood near the wreckage(single car bounced of wall into central res 
)and you should have seen the anger in his eyes,as he ran back to the offending vehicle…acknowledging my skill with a raised finger as he did so.
