In my experience - yes.

That is the bit that usually causes the most probs on test.

On the old straight six gearboxes there was hardly a minor in the gears section of the examiners sheet but nowadays it is a different story - all due to the range change and/or splitter boxes.

I’ve had a few C1 drivers who came to where I was training and said - just need the DSA procedures and the gearbox - they were right - the DSA procedures sorted within 2 days but the gearbox was 3 to 4 days.
