Having said I would be prepared to believe that just maybe the Captain knows something that the BBC doesn’t.IE the ‘immigrants’ in question are highly likely to have an ISIS connection.In which case it seems obvious that not only should the government be rounded up on charges of treason over handing the place over to the EU but also for crimes regarding putting national security at risk.

Just a guess but I’d say the royal navy captain is picking up these illegal immigrants as that’s what his orders are.
I’d imagine the chief admiral back in London would be most annoyed if the captain started machine gunning them.
To be fair I don’t think that is actually the argument.Minimum use of Force would obviously be the last resort in the case of any criminal threat against the crew when the immigrants are told that the ship has now docked in Egypt and we hope they’ve enjoyed their trip to a place of safety.

Pregnant women arrive and we have a duty of care to look after them while they give birth, which then makes their child a British citizen, thus in turn guaranteeing the mother a life here.

Sorry but your reply can’t be serious can it ■■ An example of the way the immigration bods work, about 5 years ago they came on board the ship I had and they found that one of our legally in the UK Filipino sailors visa stated that he was cleared to work on a fishing boat but not a cargo ship and he was given a weeks further stay here but then he must return home and would not be able to reapply for another visa for 2 years, WHY ■■ was he working to keep his family? … YES ! Was he poncing off the British tax payer? … NO !, Begging and on the rob on the streets? …NO !, Free treatment on the NHS? … NO !
He was an easy target for them because the border agency are a waste of bloody time an money, what harm was he doing?? and I lost a bloody good cook and also got a speeding ticket taking him to the airport

If I recall correctly all I stated at the time was that radio propagation in those climes mean the the vhf signal travel far greater distances than they do here in these latitudes, I do not recall giving our actual position so I may have been or not in a position to assist.

A post was made on Saturday to the effect that a lot of lorry drivers have a very strange outlook on life and the world in general. Carryfast and his ilk, who genuinely believe that people should be lined up and shot/left to drown/whatever is the current flavour of the week, serve as excellent evidence that this is very much the case.

It seems that your ‘evidence’ is about as good as all the other Socialist bs.What I ‘actually’ said was that places like Egypt are considered ‘safe’ enough destinations for European tourists and therefore for ‘asylum seekers’ to be returned to ( when they’ve been picked up ) instead of Italy.
Having said that the inference was that many of the ‘asylum seekers’ in question are possibly violent and hostile and thereby a risk to ships’ crews,assuming that they aren’t taken to their ‘chosen’ destinations in Europe.Being that at best they are economic migrants or at worst ISIS type nutters.In which case the usual rules at sea apply to them just the same as anyone else.
But no surprise that the Socialist cause sees every one that doesn’t follow its zb agenda as ‘odd’.

The fact is as Le Pen rightly says the definition of right and left is just a bs red herring used to confuse an un educated naive electorate.While in many cases the Labour anti EU faction was either a case of,what was arguably,Nationalist infiltration,in a vain attempt to move away from the Socialist agenda and make ‘Labour’ mean what it says ( looking after the interests of the indigenous working class ( Shore ). Or those who ‘thought’ that they were ‘Socialists’ but who suddenly discovered the ( correct ) idea of Nationalism v the stupidity of Socialism.But who either didn’t realise it at the time ( Myself ) and/or couldn’t bring themselves to admit it ( Benn and Heffer ).
