I remember when they knocked it out at 99p a pint a few year ago,The DHL boys on the Greene king job were running about just collecting empty casks so they could fill and deliver more,the Two Spoons in our town ran out at 5pm Saturday afternoon 
I think they should ban the likes of Wetherspoons, Mcds, KFC, Costa etc from it. Dont get me wrong, its great as a consumer, but its dragging trade into multi million pound corporations which will survive anyway. The local independents need the help, that’s where my cash has been going.
I’ll still not set foot into a Wetherspoons. I’ve nkt forgot how he threw his entire workforce and their suppliers under a bus. But hey, I guess moral are outweighed by dropping a pint by 30p

The majority (around 80%) of McD restaurants in the UK are franchised - owned and operated by local small businesses. With KFC it’s closer to 95%.

I heard from an employee that Tim Martin of Weatherspoons treated his employees O.K. He said they could get jobs at Tesco but they were on furlough same as others in the licensed trade.

I know what you’re saying mate, but that’s life ain’t it.
I do a similar one man protest by not spending a penny in Sports Direct shops, nothing to do with the way that Fat greedy ■■■■ Ashley treats his employees admittedly 
, but because I’m a Newcastle Utd fan.
I fully realise it’s a futile pointless thing to do,.drop in the ocean, ■■■■■■■ against the wind and all the rest of it,.a bit like you not drinking in Wetherspoons, but there you go.
