Give me a clue then coffee… old rules 4 hours 2+2 3+1 off and all in the day. you could show the extra hour on the card and reduce to 8hrs rest so how can you now do the 16 hr rule as i thoght it was scrapped a while ago no more 16 hr days??

Correct, it was changed back in April 2007 and since then with the last part now being 9 hours you can no longer do a 16 hour ‘spreadover’ or day.
