Hi.

I’m new to this site so I hope this question isn’t to cheeky…
on the 6th of June 09 myself and my ‘wife to be’ will be getting married and we like to do things a little different… I’m looking into the possibility of hiring, begging / borrowing a nice looking tractor unit to drive from the church to our reception. (approx 10 miles) Doesn’t need to be too fancy, one with side skirts and or a nice colour (white is good). Actros, MAN, Scania T cab would look great with wedding ribbons :sunglasses:

I have a class 1 licence and also I’m a driving instructor, (Mr sensible)
In return I’m willing to give two days (or more) of my time as a class 1 driver in your business.

I live in East Lancashire and that is also where our wedding will be, so anywhere around the manchester / Preston / keighley area would be great.

Richard King is in the Preston area and has some nice looking “Blinged up” V8 scannys.

wether he would let you drive one yourself or have someone else drive I wouldn’t know.

What about Joe Sharpe or there is a company near Bury run green DAF’s can’t remember there name at the moment something Brothers i think, there was an article on them featuring the XF in T+D a couple of months ago.

It’s best to have your own for the wedding.

we have done a wedding with one of the units before though this was for a personal friend of the boss best thing to do would be to conact the companies directly and ask
