Training Diary

Sounds like things are going well mate

The coaches don’t have to over hang the black chevron lines, they only need to get into the yellow area of the bay. Come to think of it when I took my test a girl was going her coach reverse before I done mine and she didn’t get out to look either.

As for the kerb, it does happen. I actually very slightly mounted a kerb on my test and I still got a pass. I thought I only rubbed it but the examiner told me at the end that I did actually mount it. Only very slightly but I still went onto it. When I said to him I thought that would have been a fail he told me its OK and that it does happen as long as it isn’t extreme like having the whole wheel on the pavement on every turn.

When I told Bob my instructor what my minors were and mentioned that one he said he thinks because I had such a good and smooth drive the examiner made a judgement call that I was good enough and safe enough to pass. Even with that little kerb incident.
