I spoke to George again this morning.
He sounds very tired and his speech somewhat slurred and a little difficult to follow, perhaps because of all the drugs which are keeping his pain at bay, perhaps that he is simply very tired.
He told me that it took him half an hour just to type out the email he wrote last Monday so I hope, indeed I’m sure, that everyone will excuse his infrequent messages.
I’m sure he’ll be chuffed to get the pics Sean, he does read everything and is in fact really pleased at getting his online access back.
On a bright note, his friend Sheila has improved somewhat in her own health and will be visiting tomorrow. She will be a real tonic for him.
